Obtention requirements |
Minimum aged of 17 years-old.
To be declared in good health at the aeronautic visit class 1 or class 2 (certified doctor)
To pass the theoretical exam (5 subjects, 120 MCQ, 75% for each subject)
A minimum of 45 hours instruction for an inexperienced trainee.
39 hours for aircraft pilots (if 60 hours and more as an aircraft commander).
Pass the practical exam (approximately 2 hours flight).

Theoretical training.
At least 25 hours in double command.
At least 10 hours solo flight including:
5 hours navigation with a navigation of 100 NM with two landings on two different plateforms |

Yearly prorogation
(We advise you to prorogate within the 3 months prior to the expiry date) |
Two dates to remember: the expiry date of the medical certificate and of each type certificate obtained
- To have a valid aeronautic medical certificate
- To have experienced 2 hours flight as a double command pilot or board commander on the helicopter type during the validity period...
- To comply a skills test on the type of helicopter to prorogate.
